No more duplicate work
Recruitment is all about overview and trust. Yet many agencies waste time by entering vacancies twice and processing applications manually (from mailbox to CRM, etc.). This was also the case for Brainconsultant, a secondment agency that already had a decent website from Kyano. A fine basis—but with one major omission: no integration with their CRM system ActiefSoftware (APM).
The result? Duplicate work, delays in the application process, and a website that did not achieve maximum returns. Brainconsultant wanted to take a smarter approach.
Challenge: the limitations of disconnected systems
The old website was fine in itself. But for an organization processing dozens of vacancies simultaneously, it was cumbersome:
- Vacancies had to be manually entered into both Kyano and APM.
- Applications arrived via separate forms and did not automatically end up in the CRM.
- Performance eventually left much to be desired: the site did not achieve top scores in Google PageSpeed on mobile.
In short: the platform operated in isolation from the heart of the organization. That had to change.
The solution: custom development with ActiefSoftware API
OrionFlux developed a custom WordPress site directly linked to Brainconsultant’s CRM. This allowed us to kill three birds with one stone:
Vacancies loaded automatically
All details are pulled from ActiefSoftware to the website in real-time: job title, number of hours, education level, salary range, and closing date.
Applications processed immediately
Candidates who apply via the site are automatically registered in APM. No manual retyping, no errors, no delays.
- Performance and SEO
The new site achieves 90+ scores in Google PageSpeed (both mobile and desktop). This results not only in faster loading times but also in better Google rankings. - User-friendly design
A clear vacancy section with filters and search options makes it easy for candidates to find the right match.
This project demonstrates the importance of integration. SMEs in recruitment and secondment especially benefit from a website that does more than just “look good.”
